Our Mission:
To Know Christ & Make Christ Known To that end our purpose is:

• An Upward Look (Worship), in which we fix our attention upon our God, including all His marvelous attributes and benevolent deeds. Our upward look involves the giving of praise and thanks to Him, the strengthening of our commitment to Him, and the stimulation of further trust in Him which we enjoy.

• An Inward Look (Fellowship), in which we fix our attention on each other as brothers & sisters in Christ. Our inward look involves loving concern and care for one another, the cultivation of friendships, mutual prayer support, edification, exhortation and discipline, equipping each other for service.

• An Outward Look (Discipleship), In which we fix our attention upon those who are not yet disciples of Jesus Christ. Our Outward look involves the establishment of rapport with our community & the world, the development, training and use of effective strategies by our faith family, to maintain a consistent evangelistic thrust through our missions and ministries.

Our Doctrinal Statement
• We affirm our belief in one God, infinite Spirit, creator, and sustainer of all things, who exists eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one in essence but distinct in person and function.

• We affirm that the Father is the first person of the Trinity, and the source of all that God is and does. From Him the Son is eternally generated and from Them the Spirit eternally proceeds. He is the designer of creation, the speaker of revelation, the author of redemption, and the sovereign of history

• We affirm that the Lord Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. Eternally begotten from the Father, He is God. He was conceived by the virgin Mary through a miracle of the Holy Spirit. He lives forever as perfect God and perfect man: two distinct natures inseparably united in one person.
• We affirm that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, proceeding from the Father and Son and equal in deity. He is the giver of all life, active in the creating and ordering of the universe: He is the agent of inspiration and the new birth; He restrains sin and Satan; and He indwells and sanctifies all believers.
• We affirm that all things were created by God. Angels were created as ministering agents, though some, under the leadership of Satan, fell from their sinless state to become agents of evil. The universe was created in six historical days and is continuously sustained by God; thus it both reflects His glory and reveals His truth. Human beings were directly created, not evolved, in the very image of God. As reasoning moral agents, they are responsible under God for understanding and governing themselves and the world.
• We affirm that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, though written by men, was supernaturally inspired by God so that all its words are the written true revelation of God, it is therefore inerrant in the originals and authoritative in all matters. It is to be understood by all through the illumination of the Holy Spirit, its meaning determined by the historical, grammatical, and literary use of the author’s language, comparing Scripture with Scripture.
• We affirm that Adam, the first man, willfully disobeyed God, bringing sin and death into the world. As a result, all persons are sinners from conception, which is evidenced in their willful acts of sin; and they are therefore subject to eternal punishment, under the just condemnation of a holy God.

• We affirm that Jesus Christ offered Himself as a sacrifice by the appointment of the Father. He fulfilled the demands of God by His obedient life, died on the cross in full substitution and payment for the sins of all, was buried, and on the third day He arose physically and bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven where He now intercedes for all believers.
• We affirm that each person can be saved only through the work of Jesus Christ, through repentance of sin and by faith alone in Him as Savior. The believer is declared righteous, born again by the Holy Spirit, turned from sin, and assured of heaven.
• We affirm that the Holy Spirit indwells all who are born again, conforming them to the likeness of Jesus Christ. This is a process completed only in Heaven. Every believer is responsible to live in obedience to the Word of God in separation from sin.
• We affirm that a church is a local assembly of baptized believers, under the discipline of the Word of God and the lordship of Christ, organized to carry out the commission to evangelize, to teach, and to administer the ordinances of believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Table. Its offices are pastors (elders) and deacons, and it is self-governing. It functions through the ministry of gifts given by the Holy Spirit to each believer for redeeming the lost and building up believers in the faith.
• We affirm that the return of Christ for all believers is imminent. It will be followed by seven years of great tribulation, and then the coming of Christ to establish His earthly kingdom for a thousand years. The unsaved will then be raised and judged according to their works and separated forever from God in hell. The saved, having been raised, will live forever in heaven in fellowship with God.
Having been led by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized (immersed) in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

We strive, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; for the advancement of this church in Scriptural knowledge and holiness; to promote its spirituality and prosperity; to sustain its worship by regular attendance at its stated service, and to submit to the discipline; to give it a sacred pre-eminence over all institutions of human origin; to support the church in the manner outlined in the Scripture for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all the nations.
We also engage to maintain family and private devotions to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord; to seek salvation of our families and friends; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all gossiping, backbiting and unrighteous anger; to abstain from all questionable and unbiblical practices and excesses that involve the practice or appearance of evil and harm the reputation of Christ; to be set for the defense of the gospel and be zealous in our efforts to win the lost for Christ.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay. We moreover unite with some other church of like faith and practice where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and principles of God’s Word.
The Seven Steps of History
According to the bible

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1)
Day 1
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
(Genesis 1:1-5)
Day 2
And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. (Genesis 1:6-8)
Day 3
And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.
(Genesis 1:9-13)
Day 4
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day. (Genesis 1:14-19)
Day 5
And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.( Genesis 1:20-23)
Day 6
And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (Genesis 1:24-31)

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)
Adam and Eve knew they could eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil, God had forbidden them to eat of it, for it they did they would die.
The devil, a real being, took on the form of a serpent. He knew what God had told them and lied to Eve telling her they won't die if they eat the forbidden fruit. Eve believed him instead of God and she ate it. Then she gave it to Adam, who hadn't been deceived and he ate it willingly. This caused them to immediately die spiritually (to be seperarated from God) and physically.
Because of Adam's sin all the decendents (you and I) are born sinners. Because of his sin our bodies will die. Because of Adam's sin God cursed His creation-which is the world we live in today.

He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. (Genesis 7:23)
God created the earth in six literal days, but because of Adam's disobedience, corruption was brought into the world and God was very displeased. God was so grieved that He decided he was going to destroy every living creature on the earth except for Noah and his family. Noah had found favor with the Lord. God sent rain and water came up from the ground to cover the whole earth with water. Noah obeyed God and built an ark for his family, God saved them. It continued raining for 40 days and nights. The water remained on the earth 150 days. When Noah, his family and the animals were able to leave the ark, Noah built an alter to worship the Lord. God promised to never flood the earth again and made a rainbow in the sky as a symbol of His promise.
Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.” So the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. (Genesis 11: 7-8)
Confusion
The disobedient descendants of Noah decided to stay in one place, building a tall tower that they hoped would help keep them all together. When the Lord saw their disobedience, He was very unhappy—as He is with all disobedience—and He confused the language of the people so they couldn’t understand each other (until this time, they all spoke one language). In this way, the Creator scattered them over all the earth.
Christ
She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”
(which means, God with us) (Matthew 1:21-23)
God’s perfect creation was corrupted by Adam when he disobeyed God. This disobedience brought sin and death into the world. Because of Adam’s disobedience, and because we have all sinned personally anyway, we are all deserving of the death penalty and need a Savior. God did not leave His creation without hope. He promised to send Someone one day who would take away the penalty for sin, which is death. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to take the penalty for our sins.
