Sensory Room
For Children on the Spectrum 

Our church has a sensory room!  Our ministry helpers seek to share God's love through play and accessible Bible story activities for children. They also serve as "sidekicks" to support children with special needs in providing a modified Junior Church experience. Our team would love to support your child in their journey of faith in this way!

 

Our ministry team is  always looking for more helpers, especially as our number of children needing support grows! The responsibilities of these volunteers would be to help the child/children to be included in Junior church activities and to support sensory related breaks as needed in our dedicated sensory room space. They will encourage our children with special learning needs (including but not limited to developmental delays, autism, or ADHD). Our helpers show the love of God in practical ways and celebrate the uniqueness of each child.
