Upcoming events from the Missions Corner :
Well it's already July and what a lovely summer GOD has given us. Hoping everyone had a wonderful July 4th.
July 8th we prepared and served food for a barbecue at the sober living house.
On July 11th Timothy Initiatives came and spoke about his Mission field. We have been busy with Missions this year and we are free to relax for the month of August.
Please enjoy the rest of the summer stay healthy and be safe. See you all in September from the Missions Committee
About the Missions Committee
The Missions Committee stays in contact with our missionaries around the world. We pray for
them and for the needs that they bring to our attention.
We try to keep the church informed about what our missionaries are doing and what their needs are.
When possible, we make arrangements for missionaries to come speak at church. We provide a
meal for them and, if necessary, a place to stay overnight. We also usually give them a small
amount of money to help with travel expenses.
We also prayerfully consider when to stop supporting someone, when to add someone on and when to increase or decrease someone’s support. Recently we started praying about starting a missionary project here at home.
So, if anyone is interested in joining us, you will be blessed by seeing God at work.
